“If America Repents, I Will Relent from the Destruction Against It”

Decisions

It is nearing half past eight in the evening here in India. The entire day I haven’t been myself, wrestling with a message I received in the morning along with instructions to post it. I have been wondering why I received the word I did today. Ever since receiving it, I have been ill at ease.

I read three different passages: Ezekiel 24:15-27, Jeremiah 3:6-13, and Micah 4:1-5. I don’t know why I have received a word for this nation again, considering that I don’t even live there. Nevertheless, I feel the Spirit is leading me to share, and the biggest confirmation for me sharing is this recent post “In My Mercy I Will Raise Up An Army of Kingdom Ambassadors”, which was not there when I checked in the morning.

So, let me begin by asking you, America: Do you know what the Lord desires for you? Yeah, you might answer—repentance.

No, I tell you. That is what you need to do. What the Lord desires is to restore you! You want to know how badly? Read on.

Message 1: Go, write, and post this, so that the people of the United States of America may see it. Judgment is upon them. Yet if they repent and return to me I will not bring upon them the disaster that I have purposed.

Message 2: If America repents, I will relent from the destruction against it. Do you think I take pleasure in destroying such a great land? I would rather see the land and its people repent and be filled with righteousness.

Message 3: Return, faithless and disobedient America, and I will be angry with you no more.

Message 4: In whose name is America walking? In whosoever’s names she is walking, they are leading her blind to destruction. Return, America, and I will restore you.

Message 5: America had such a great destiny. But she has forsaken my plans for those of her own. Return, America, and I will restore you.

Message 6: Who is America’s god? Which god does she trust in? The god that she has put her faith in is leading her to destruction. Return to me, America, and I will restore you.

This is what I received. Now, the three passages I read, I have read them before, and I wasn’t planning to read them today, but the understanding that I received upon reading them today…I never received it before. I did not think up the meaning of the passages in leisure and then purpose to write it here. Perhaps the Holy Spirit wants to reveal something to America, about what it was meant to be and what it has become.

Do not take my words at face value. I am just another messenger. Take this up with the Almighty, and let him give you understanding, for this understanding that I share below is definitely not mine.

Here is the understanding given to me for each passage.

Read Micah 4:1-5. “America you are a mountain of a nation, chief among other nations, but instead of a mountain of righteousness, you have become a mountain of evil. Peoples have always streamed to you, but gone are the days when your goodness was the attraction. Today those who stream to you are attracted by your licentiousness and wickedness. Instead of teaching the world the ways of the Lord, you have taught and exported your sin and vanity. The word of the Lord was to go out from you but today, it is darkness that you spew forth. You once judged and settled disputes across the world. Today, your land reeks with dispute and judgment has come upon you. You once brokered peace, but now you have brokered war. Were you not the land of the American Dream? But today, you are a land of broken dreams. Do you not print on your currency, ‘In God We Trust’? But, I tell you, this day, America, ‘That God Is No Longer Me.'”

Now read Ezekiel 24:15-25. ‘Do you not O Americans, delight in your land? I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. You will not mourn or weep but will waste away because of your sins and groan among yourselves. When this happens, you will know that I am the Lord.’

Finally Jeremiah 3:6-13. ‘Return, faithless America, and I will frown on you no longer for I am merciful. Only acknowledge your guilt—you have rebelled against the Lord your God and have not obeyed me. Return to me, and I will restore you.’

I had struggled with the messages, some saying judgement is here and God told them it’s too late and some saying repent and God will relent. After listening to the Kings in the old testament and how judgement came, my prayer is this. “Lord Jesus, Father, may the Holy Spirit speak for me if I am wrong in what I ask. I ask that America will repent and turn from their evil ways turning their backs on your covenant. I ask for mercy on America. But, Lord, I cannot stomach the blood we have shed in tearing apart your babies….I cannot stomach how we have turned our back on the covenants you have given us long ago. I don’t know how you cannot bring judgement upon a nation that is getting worse and worse every day. I cannot imagine what America will become if we continue at the rate of lawlessness that we are taking. But Lord if there is a chance that judgement can be stopped and that America will return to you, I ask for mercy. If judgment is set for America already, I ask that you lift the veil from their eyes so many people will turn to you as the judgement comes so we can be the light in the darkness. I ask that you will rise up more than just a remnant.

I understand your struggle because these things go beyond what we can see. Only God sees the hearts of everyone and the future choices we will make to either repent or rebel. I believe it is always true that He will relent from bringing destruction if we repent because otherwise there would be no hope and with God there is always hope. However, He also knows our decisions before we make them, which enables Him to tell future things before they happen.

That is exactly what I have thought the last couple days. He knows ahead of time exactly what we will do. Thanks for the confirmation

I read this and I have to wonder, is this one last call to repentance. It seems the die is cast. That there will be measured judgements that will not be retracted. Terrorist or military strikes against certain cities, natural disasters, disease or pestilence, the hand of the Lord against certain systems, institutions, lifestyles. All of these in an effort to bring people to repentance. It seems there is such a degree of deception and corruption permeating this nation from the top down. Individuals bent on evil. Perhaps a fatal blow here or there will awaken individuals but I look back to 9/11 and there was a brief response and then as a nation we returned to the dark course we were on like a duck shaking water off of it’s back. By no means am I throwing stones and saying people cannot change. Abba has shown immeasurable mercy to me the chief of sinners and the least of my brothers and sisters. If anyone deserves judgement it is I and I long for nothing more than the lost, the prodigals, those ravished by sin to return to the Father who loves them more than they can fathom and they be restored. Not verbatim but Tozer said the most natural thing is for us to live in union and fellowship with the Infinite, the Immutable, the Eternal God. The aberration is for us to live estranged from our Creator. Let repentance start with me….search me Abba, see if there be any wicked way in me,consume it refiners fire and in your mercy lead me in your way everlasting.

It may take months/years for all judgements to unfold. New Madrid 2017 triggering dollar collapse into 2018 on, with tsunamis, EMP, invasion, and perhaps Yellowstone 2022. And perhaps if the earlier judgements lead to repentance, subsequent judgements will be averted.

In my opinion, I think that repentance should start from the house of God, because there does not seem to be much difference in behaviour these days between the world and some professing believers. Must we continue to sin that grace may abound? The answer of course is no. God has been too patient with us, may the Lord have mercy.

This confirms what I read near the end of the book of Exodus yesterday. God wanted to destroy His people after they made a gold calf and were worshipping it. Moses interceded for God’s people. You can find his pray near the end of Exodus. Because of Mose’s pray, God relented from the destruction of His people but His people would have a judgement instead. God sent a plague instead of total destruction. Since God opened my eyes to understand this passage in a new way, I now know one person who has God’s heart, can greatly influence what God does. I, for one, am asking God to relent and not bring total destruction on America but to bring judgement as He wills.

I want to believe we have the option of repentance at this point, but sadly I don’t. Only the remnant will repent. Babies will still be murdered, sexual sins will abound, corruption and extortion will be ignored the next day. There is no Josiah, no righteousness king to return the hearts of the people back to God. We repent, tomorrow they kill. At this point I pray God will Make these sins stop, so be it if through judgment. At least one less child will die, lie told…

Perhaps there is the one lost soul that needs to hear this. Perhaps the Lord knows that one person would repent if they better understood the Lord’s attitude where He says He does not like to destroy anyone. This message may or may not be for a mass of people, just for that last grain of wheat. I know I have gotten messages from others that softened my heart and helped me turn to Jesus.

I read Mena Lee Grebins post of 4 hours ago and it echoes yours, Sujit. She was given Zach 7:11-13. “The church has a heart of stone, ears that won’t hear and when they do call out, I/God will not listen. Church your are blind and led by the blind. America will fall so that the Beast System can be implemented. Pray that you will be found worthy to escape all of these things. You have been warned. The only message left is REPENT.” I’d say these two posts today are confirmation. Read her whole post on menaleegrebin faithful walk healing miniseries site. You can google or go to her Facebook page.

Sujit:
Thanks for sharing and obeying the Father. These words are an accurate representation of the principles of God’s judgment we find in his Word. We take part in the repentance of our nation by taking personal responsibility and repenting before God on a personal level. When we clean our own house, so to speak, we are doing our part in national repentance.

And if the rest of the nation fails to follow suit we can rejoice in a confidence that God is keeping score, and can preserve the righteous and bless them with what they require; and at the same time deal with the ungodly and unrepentant. So we should never give up on God’s call for this nation to repent; even if it appears that repentance will never come. Each of us must take that call personally, and be faithful to do our part.

The ministry of Brother Zac Poonen from India has been a great blessing to me over the years. Are you familiar with the man? Very sound and balanced preaching with an emphasis on the power of God’s grace to get us right and keep us right.

Blessings;
Paul

Hi Paul,
I came across him about a year ago – very quiet humble Godly man – his small downloadable book The Day of Small Beginnings really blessed me. Life centred on Jesus, with nothing else worth anything (Ps 16:2?). Provocative to our western Christian ears. Bless you.

Repent? Who is the “America” that must repent? Is it all the people who are delusional and have been taken over to the dark side? Is it those who love evil more than God? Is it the blind who live the lie and hate the truth? Is it the deceived church? Is is those who are the casualties of spiritual warfare? How do these people even know what repentance is let alone know that they are called to repent? How does “America” repent? Are we talking about the few “true believers” and intercessors who are earnestly praying for our country and trying to understand what they must repent of? Can I repent for another persons sin? Will it take chaos, disaster and suffering to motivate the unrepentant to repent?

July 30th 2016 10:42 pm The Church has committed Treachery * 1 : violation of allegiance or of faith and confidence : treason * 2 : an act of perfidy or treason Perfidy * 1 : the quality or state of being faithless or disloyal : treachery * 2 : an act or an instance of disloyalty Treason * 1 : the betrayal of a trust : treachery * 2 : the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign’s family. The Church has bowed down to “political incorrectness ” desiring a man/ woman to rule over them; thereby rejecting the Lordship of Christ and the authority of the Word of God. When prayer was taken out of the schools, and the bible was banned and evolution became law, the church could have confessed the sins of America and repented before God for allowing these things to occur on its watch—it did not repent. When the sexual revolution occured and JFK was killed by the powers that rule America and the military, truth died and the communists began to infiltrate every sector–the church could have repented of this evil and greatly sorrowed before the Lord but did it? When Roe vs Wade came and went, the church could have repented and done something in mass—it did not except small bunches of believers and catholics. When Nixon decided to take away righteous money we did not repent. When the Christian zealot woman Anita Byrant stood up against the homosexual agenda, the church could have followed suit and backed her up, but we let her vision die… and the church did not repent. When Bill Clinton brought down the entire nation into his sins and sold secrets to China, was impeached in disgrace but never left office, the church could have repented. When 911 fell on the nation, American pastors could have joined hands with several brave men of God who spoke clearly from the heart of God but were thrown under the bus and the church’s missed a great chance to repent. When homosexual marriage came into one state, the church could have held rallies around the country, blowing the horn of alarms, but the pastors did nothing to call the nation to solemn assemblies. America will not repent. When an open communist and muslim was elected not just once but twice, where were the churches and pastors not calling for repentance and calling african American pastors to repent of their racist blindness.… Read more »
