America, You Have Abandoned Me, So I Have Abandoned You

abandoned_church
It is fifteen minutes past midnight on March 7, 2016, here in India. I just finished meditating on a scripture passage now, and as I finished, I felt the Lord led me to publish. Here it is.

21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four- footed animals and crawling creatures. (Romans 1:21–23)

I read the passage thrice, and each time, I received a message.

Message 1:
America is doomed and on its way to destruction. They knew me. They saw my glory. They saw what I did for them. Yet, they have abandoned me and gone after false gods. America is doomed.

Message 2:
(This contains pretty strong words)
America, you have been warned to repent. Because you haven’t, I will turn you over to your gods. They will rape you, burn you with fire, and leave you desolate and naked.

Message 3:
(This seems like a final warning, but there still seems to be hope if there is repentance)
America, you have abandoned me, and so I have abandoned you. Yet, if even now you repent and return to me, I will forgive you and heal you. But, I know you will not. You are stubborn and rebellious just like ancient Israel. Therefore, go into the fire that has been kindled and made ready for you. Go! Go!!!

I wish to add in conclusion that I did not go to the Lord asking Him to give me a message of doom for America. Yes, sometime earlier, I had asked Him to clarify Matt’s poem and Ali’s warnings for me. And He said that that knowledge was not appointed to me. So, I should neither worry about it nor go seeking after it. He also said others have their assignments and I have mine and that mine was to cling onto him and to seek to be deeply rooted in Him. So, that is what I have been doing. But yesterday and today, when I meditated on the book of Romans, the Lord gave me words for America. However, it was only today that He led me to publish one of them. And, when He asked me to publish it, He also said why: “Perhaps, some will see it and repent.”

America, it is not the Lord’s will to destroy you. You are reaping destruction with your own hands. Even today, the Lord calls on you to repent; repent and be saved.

IF GOD DOES NOT JUDGE AMERICA, HE WILL HAVE TO APOLOGIZE TO SODOM AND GOMORRAH.

a quote apparently misappropriated to BILLY Graham, when it was actually his wife Ruth who said it. And it’s so very appropriate. Between the coming eclipse and Rev. 12 sign, I think God’s giving us a “sign of Jonah” – 40 days to repentance – before the SHTF.

Sujit Thomas, I just now listened to you on Trunews. Please intercede for me and my family. They are hard to hear God’s judgment. I am praying that God will have mercy on them and open their heart, ears, and eyes to see what is going on. They don’t seem to be awake. They attend Church, read the Bible and enjoy fellowship of other believers but they don’t seem responsive to messages of God’s judgment. I don’t want to fall under judgment. I want to repent and live with God in peace.

Hi, Joe,

I saw your message only today. I will definitely pray for you. I find myself to be in a similar boat, and just like you, I believe that prayer is the answer.

Hi Sujit,

I always love reading your responses and appreciate this message.

I am curious about what your testimony might be and am wondering if you were raised in the Christian faith. The reason being is that I am interested on your personal take of the spiritual aspects of such things as yoga and mandelas. A lady just recently wrote a Christian blog post regarding the demonic influence of Mandelas and it has gone viral! “Christians”, pagans, and aethists alike have viciously attacked her for her view on them and also her view on the spiritual aspects of yoga. It would be interesting to get a first hand account from someone who is raised in an area surrounded by these religious beliefs and practices.

Hi Sandra, I have just seen your comment. Here is my reply to your questions. I am wondering how to answer the question of if I was raised a Christian because one becomes a Christian by following Christ and not by being born into a “Christian” family or attending church or by reading the Bible. They are important, yes, but they don’t make me a Christian. So, the answer is yes and no. I had a lot of advantages and good things to build on to become a mature Christian, but they did not make me a Christian. It is only when I started following Christ that I started becoming one, and the process of pruning and perfecting is still on. On the spiritual aspect of things such as yoga and madalas, for many years I had thought that yoga was just a form of exercise. I had heard that it was an exercise for the mind as well, but I was illiterate in what that really meant. It took a while, but I gradually began to see that there was a lot of controversy about yoga especially because of its spiritual aspects and there is no separating the two, that is, the yoga poses and the spiritual reality. I also find it interesting that even though I grew up around it, was intrigued by it, and even entertained thoughts about trying it, I never really did try it. It is interesting because I believe the Holy Spirit kept me away from it. This may seem strange, but I can in hindsight say that I was in the US from 2006 to early 2009, and the Lord moved me away (even though I didn’t want to) from the US when Barack Obama came to power. It was like he wanted… Read more »

Hello Sujit – Thank you for this word.

If you read this, just wanted to say that it’s interesting we were both led to the same scripture at roughly the same time (12-hour differential). I had related Romans 1:20-21 in response to Matt Peterson’s latest blog entry on ‘Daily Crow,’ in essentially the same context that man is without excuse.

Though the message itself is very sobering, I always find these spiritual intersections (confirmation?) exciting, for what it’s worth.

Blessings to you from MA, USA

Hi Rob,

Could you post the link to the blog entry you mentioned? Yes, I do think these spiritual intersections are very interesting.

Hi William and Sujit – Thanks for posting the link! Beat me to it.

It would seem that all of us receiving this Scripture at roughly the same time is indeed confirmation of this sobering reality.

Let’s stay close to the Lord.

Thank you for writing. It’s comforting that the Holy Spirit leads us in all truth at a time when we can’t find it anywhere else.

Yes, we can envision the Lord being grieved for the nation much like an earthly father would grieve for his wayward child. We pray that many will come back into the fold while there’s still time.

Stay close to the Lord.

In my time with the Lord today I received these 3 words: “It is time”. I was desperate to know more specifically what this referred to. I asked the Lord and the answer I received was this: ” It is time to let go of everything that will burn. It is time to let go of everything that is holding you back from fully following Me. It is time to be refined by My fire.” The verses He gave me are from 1 Peter 1:6-9 “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith – the salvation of your souls. ” I believe judgment is coming to our nation but God always has a remnant. I am desperate for the sleeping church go awaken, to arise from their sleep if complacency and be completely HOT for the Lord. I read today that the Greek word for hot is Zestos, which means “boiling hot”… O Father that we would be boiling hot in our witness and testimony for You. Time is so short, let us not waste a single moment. Let go of all that will burn and trust Him alone to protect and provide for His children. Blessings to all!

Powerful words. It contains the hope that some words dont have. Hope for a return to a Father who Loves us and desperately scans the horizon, looking for our return. Like the prodigal son, most of the nation is still wallowing in the filth of the swine yard having squandered their inheritance. But He holds out hope that we will come home. So many people, myself included, often wonder; ‘Lord, why do you delay? The night is long and the dawn is late in coming. Maranatha!! Come Lord Jesus!!’ But who are we to know the mind of God? Who are we to scrutinize His ways? Thinking of this a few months ago, I had a sudden, intuitive word of knowledge. Whilst so many of us were expecting great changes last fall, the Lord delayed. Why? Because that person there, look, he is almost at a conversion. And this one there, his heart is softening. And that family there, they are seeing the truth and waking up. Its almost as if God is warring with Himself, if that is possible, holding himself back until the last possible moment BECAUSE SO MANY ARE IN THE MIDST OF CONVERSION. Bless this time. Praise Him for this time. Glory to His Holy Name. If anyone doubts, let them not be mistaken. What is coming will be so swift and so terrible and so awful in its entirety, that it is even making the very Hand of God take pause. Ponder that for awhile. “For behold, I make all things new.”

Hi Paul,

I know what it feels like to receive undeserved grace and mercy and be redeemed from a broken life. Every time I am down on my knees interceding for someone or some place, I can’t help but mention to God that if anyone deserved to be judged and condemned at a point in time, that person was most certainly me. Yet, I was extended mercy and grace over and over again by him and he slowly chipped away (still is chipping away) at my faults and shortcomings. I ask him to remember what he has done in my life before he judges the unrighteous, because I was once just like them.

But, I also confess to him that I don’t know his mind, and his ways are several times better than mine. And if he is doing something, which may seem terrible in the short term, I tell him that I would rather trust him and not my own ideas of whether he is being fair and just. I know he already is.

Sujit, I was just like you, up until recent. I used to ask God for a complete play by play, of future events to the day, and time. God wouldn’t do so for me. God would give me the light “Cliff notes,” and tell me “Not to worry about that, and make sure you stay in right standing with me.” Even when I wrote my poem, I only got a brief synopsis of what is to come, I wanted dates, times, and exactly every possible detail, in the scenario, and God kept telling me, “It was none of my business, make sure you stay right with me.” Sometimes God doesn’t want us to know everything, because we might not be ready, ruin our blessing, or even delay our blessing. Even Jesus doesn’t know the day or the hour he will return. Why? I believe Jesus’s love, he would have told mankind, thus many would pray 30 minutes before he shows up, trying to get into Heaven. Now, I just pray everyday, “God have mercy on me.”

Sujit, although I live in mid-America, I am flying into Chennai in about a week with a group of 7 for missions in southern India. We will have a 3 night crusade along with other ministry. I find it very cool that just as we have been preparing and praying for your nation, that the Kingdom of God would spread throughout India, you have been interceding for our nation. We are truly all one in the spirit with no distance. The Lord surely has us all intertwined and working toward the same purposes!
