Here is another confirmation of Linda Clay’s post, Prophetic Dream: Supernatural Protection from Sudden Disaster. November 20, 2014, I recorded my first dream of the previous evening: I was in the ocean, either standing on the ocean floor in water to my shoulders, or vertically floating, toes skimming the sand beneath. The sea was quite calm.
Suddenly the ocean began to change. Wave upon wave came from behind me with no warning, much faster than is natural, and each wave lifted me higher. For example, a three-foot swell had time to drop back only a foot on the far side before the next one hit, for a net gain of 2 feet. At first they were all swells, but the swells soon gave way to waves that crested. Each wave was bigger, taller, stronger than the one before. It didn’t take long before I was floating, still vertical, in 50 feet of water, looking up at a way-beyond-massive wave curling over my head that must have been at least 70 to 100 feet or more tall. (No measurement was given me in my dream, but as I wrote it down, the thought came that it was no more than 120 feet.)
It too came crashing down on top of my head, with enough force that by all rights I should have been pile-driven up to my neck into the ocean floor. But even though this gargantuan wall of water crashed on top of me with a deafening roar, I was supernaturally lifted up within it to then ride the top of the wave, just as before the very first swell, and I was not hurt in the slightest. My hair didn’t even get wet.
There were other people too, but they were not a focal point in my dream. I saw very few in the ocean, both before and during the swells and smaller waves, maybe up to 10 feet, before they were hidden from my view by the larger ones. They were not evil, not spirits. I was not distressed about them. In fact, I was not distressed at any time in the ocean; I was filled with supernatural peace. “We’ve got to get to shore!,” I called out to the people after the unusual tsunami had passed.
Then the scene changed, and I was indoors. I wondered if I had been deposited there by the wave, and I wondered if the house was underwater. Downstairs in a two-story home, I saw that something was happening with invisible force. There were other people with me there, too, and again they were not evil and not a focal point. Feeling urgency in my spirit, I saw dry sand burying the staircase that I stood near, as if sand was being brought in and deposited by invisible waves. I could not tell where the sand came from; it just kept getting higher and higher.
Although I didn’t see any of the people in the house, I called out to them, “We’ve got to go up!” I knew that some of them had been with me in the ocean, and others were already in the house before we got there. They had been relaxing and enjoying themselves on the TV sofa or in other pursuits, oblivious to the tidal wave danger outside. The downstairs level grew increasingly dark as the sand piled up, but the upstairs level was light. As I climbed up, over the shifting, sloping sand, pulling myself on the oak handrail as if pulling my legs out of quicksand, I woke up.
Interpretation:
That November morning, I thought the dream meant that the Holy Spirit would lift me higher and higher in His power and new giftings. I didn’t think about it terribly much other than in awe and gratitude, and did not initially ask God for an interpretation. (That was dumb!!)
God has been prompting me to go through my journal and post things as He leads me. (Some will appear here and some at flyhinter.blogspot.com.) When I read Linda’s post in bed last night, the Spirit reminded me of this dream, and impressed on me to post it. It hadn’t crossed my mind much in six months, but last night I felt that He was telling me the ocean part of my dream is a declaration of God’s promise to keep His holy people safe supernaturally, even in impossible situations. (À la Psalm 91, and in confirmation of Linda’s dream.)
The house represents an hourglass, whose bottom half is rapidly filling with dry sand. Time is almost out! The base level of the house, where most of the people were, represents the base level of God’s people. It is that part of us that cares more about comfort and fun than things of the Spirit or being righteous. The upper level of the house – brightly illuminated – represents the spirit level of God’s righteous people, being called by the Holy Spirit.
Even though we have God’s protection, we also still have to act for ourselves – and others – in some situations, like when I yelled out to them, “We’ve got to go up!” This will take wisdom and discernment as well as brawn and bravery if we are to be the over-comers and conquerors (Revelation 2 and 3). Remember, He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
The cloying aspects of the sand, like quicksand, are evil’s attempts to hold on to us and keep us trapped until we can be killed. The wooden handrail provided the only way to reach the light, symbolizing the secure cross of Christ, which was extended to each of us, as God Himself stretched to bridge the gap between He and we. We cannot free ourselves of the evil unless we firmly grasp ahold of it with both hands. No turning back. Those who can’t bother to stir themselves to make the difficult journey upward, preferring instead to enjoy their fleshly pleasures, will be left behind and consumed by the growing, spreading evil.

This morning I was reminded of scripture that confirms my Wave upon Wave dream. 2 Corinthians 3:18, here in six translations, with my revelation after the last one: (ASV) “But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory even as from the Lord the Spirit.” ….. (ISV) “As all of us reflect the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, we are becoming more like Him with ever-increasing glory by the Lord’s Spirit.” ….. (KJV) “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” ….. (NASB) “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” ….. (NIV) “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate [or reflect] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” ….. (NLT) “So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord – Who is the Spirit – makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.” ….. ….. The “we” or “us” that this verse is addressing are only the righteous saints, walking with Christ. The glory of God is revealed in His presence and His power. You cannot teach a baby to skip until he learns to crawl and then walk. You cannot teach a believer the “meat” of God’s word (inner revelations beyond the surface meaning) until he has absorbed enough “milk” of God’s word (the foundation, the surface meaning) to be ready for it (1 Corinthians 3:2, Hebrews 5:12). Righteous saints glow with the glory of God, normally visible to the spirit within, not to our natural eyes. As we become ready for the next step in growing more like Christ, the Spirit will release what we need to get there. This could be a higher level of a spiritual gift we already flow in, or an entirely new gift – which might mean one of the 9 listed in 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 – or perhaps a never-before-known gift (John 14:12, John 5:20, John 14:12). Look up the verses. You’ll be glad you did.
Debra If I might add, the “mirror’ is key to this scripture….. We have to be willing to “examine ourselves” (looking at the mirror) to grow in the likeness of God. That takes humility, repentance and desire….. You can not enter the kingdom without these qualities.

WOW, Ryan. Amazing how the Holy Spirit continues to confirm things. As we bring what we are shown together, we get a “bigger picture”. Your post reminded me of a dream (or vision?) I had last year, that goes along with many others who had dreams/visions about Russia attacking the United States:
12-18-14 – THE BEAR ROARED AND LASHED OUT IN ANGER
I was either almost awake or alseep, I don’t know. Suddenly I had a vision (dream?) flash of a Huge Bear Roaring and lashing out with it’s claws in anger. I had a shiver go throughout my whole body and was wide awake at that time.
Interpretation: Russia WILL be lashing out . . .an attack IS imminent. . and it WILL happen.

DIVE DEEP INTO THE WATER (HOW TO PROSPER DURING ECONOMIC JUDGMENT IN THE USA)
DREAM: I found myself walking along the bank of a beautiful lake to my left. To my right was a wonderful expanse of open green grass with a few trees sprinkled near the bank of the lake. There were beautiful amber colored leaves from the trees on the ground. As I was walking, looking down at the grass in front of me, I saw a rainbow trout that had been caught; presumably by a fisherman at the lake. This trout had been abandoned on the grassy bank of the lake and had dried out so that it looked almost like jerky. I walked a little farther and then saw a small pile of rainbow trout. There were three or four of them that had also been caught and left on the bank to dry out until they looked like jerky. As I continued walking I then came upon a rainbow trout lying on the bank of the lake that had been recently caught. It was still fresh and wet from the lake.
Then I looked to my right and saw a blanket that was spread on the grass, near this recently caught fish, as if there had been a person previously sitting on it. Next to the blanket was an abandoned fishing pole. I then looked into the lake water and saw that it was teeming with thousands of beautiful rainbow trout. I was puzzled as to why people would catch fish and then just abandon them. I thought it was strange that no one was at this lake fishing.
I thought I should go get my five children and bring them here to go fishing. I knew they would all catch a lot of fish. As I was thinking this I looked up and the grassy expanse to my right had changed. It was now a large ocean bay. I was standing on a green peninsula with the beautiful rainbow-trout filled lake to my left. As I looked to my right, across the bay, on the other side was a thick wooded forest. I watched as an extremely large grizzly bear came out of the woods. It looked as if it was twenty feet tall and ten feet around. It quickly slipped into the water and very rapidly began swimming directly toward me. It was submerged in the water and approaching me stealthily but moving very fast. Only it’s ears, eyes and nose were above water.
I knew it was headed toward me to devour me and it was coming so quickly I didn’t think I had time to run to safety. Just then I heard the voice of the Lord say “Jump into the lake.” I dove in and swam under the surface so that I was about three feet under the water. I then heard the Lord say again “You must dive deep into the water. Those who stay on the surface will be devoured by the bear.” Obeying again, I swam down to the bottom of the lake and sat there. I was about 15 to 20 feet below the surface of the lake. I asked the Lord “How will I live down here?” He immediately replied “I will keep you alive.” The dream ended.
INTERPRETATION: This is what the Lord said: “This dream is about the coming economic judgment on the USA. Just as Elisha called bears out of the woods as a judgment on those who mocked the prophet, judgment is coming on the USA for rejecting the Lord (2 Kings 2:23-24). The bear coming out of the woods is larger than any bear you have ever seen. This speaks of the intensity of the financial woes coming upon your nation. The lake that is filled with rainbow trout speaks of the water of My Word that is filled with thousands of promises. Those who will survive and even prosper in the days that are now at hand must dive wholeheartedly into My Word. They must not be shallow in their walk with Me but immerse themselves in My Word and surround themselves with My promises. I will keep them alive. Those who only have a “surface” knowledge of My Word will be devoured by the turbulent days ahead.”
“The dried fish left on the bank of the lake, and the absence of people fishing in a lake teeming with fish speaks of the lack of interest and lack of hunger for God’s Word by many Christians. The cares of life and other loves draw them away and they are neglecting My Word. The water of My Word is rich with thousands of promises that will sustain anyone who dives into it. The amber leaves you saw on the ground speak of the autumn of the year. This judgment will begin in the fall.”
I was given this dream and word in 2007. I shared this openly with the congregation that we pastor in Lancaster, California. We know that in the fall of 2008 the stock market dropped 777 points and recession hit the USA. Many people in real estate and construction industries were especially affected. This was only the beginning of this economic judgment. Very soon economic woes in the USA will become much more pronounced. This is the counsel of the Lord to survive and prosper. Get into the Word of God. Live by His Word and His promises. He will sustain you.
I love the reference to the two conversational voices in this Psalm. The security of the believer even if harm should come reaffirms our faith. The merging of the spiritual and physical signs are increasing dramatically, and I am pleased to see that on Tish B’av there is an architectural drawing of the third temple released. Wow, Debra, thank you for sharing this. Yes, Psalm 91. I truly believe we will see some of the most amazing, supernatural things that the Heavenly Father will do for those who are fully in Christ. To build up our faith, it’s good to go through the Bible and read about all of the miracles that have taken place and remind ourselves that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. I also believe that we are in “the best of times” and “the worst of times”. May all who call on the name of Jesus, listen to and obey the leading of the Holy Spirit.
